Wayne and Tammy Strickland  welcome you to the College Street Pub - Located less than a block north of  the historic town square in Waxahachie, this English-inspired Pub is a great place to meet friends for drinks, watch a game on TV, have a snack or a meal.  Seating is available at the bar, at tables inside, or on the back patio. Since smoking is permitted inside and out, if you are a non-smoker, the best time to dine is before 6:00 PM. The open air atmosphere on the patio is also a nice place to be in good weather. The ambience is relaxing yet the service is hasty and efficient. Take out orders are gladly accepted. Give them a call or drop in for a delicious meal. Creative specials change daily but the bulk of the menu stays the same for both lunch and dinner. Be sure to ask about the delicious desserts.

Lunch, - The Coronation Chicken was outstanding!  Best chicken salad in Waxahachie.  For lunch it is plenty, but a very tasty pasta salad also comes with it.  Companion had delicious chicken and cheese nachos served with a homemade salsa with just the right amount of heat and cilantro.  Would be a nice accompaniment to a beer, or margarita, and conversation.   

Best Cup of Coffee.  Stop by for a cup with a delicious dessert.

Lunch, Thursday,  - Reuben sandwich had just the right ratio of pastrami to sauerkraut.  Rye bread had just the right crispness.  Fish and chips were served hot, hot, hot.  Creamy white slabs of fish with beautiful beer batter outside and really nicely crisp chips (french fries).  

Service is very friendly and efficient.   If going for a meal on the weekend, get there early.
