Mayor Joe Jenkins first told me about Happy Gummin and his hamburger stand. Located in an alley just half a block off the courthouse square, this was a popular hamburger stand for many years.  According to Mayor Jenkins, Happy Grummin was also the local Boy Scout Leader for many years in the 1920's and 30's.
